About Pamela Grubb
ACSW, MSW, CYI, 200 hour E-RYT
Pamela
Grubb has been a student of yoga since 1975. Certified
by the Himalayan Institute
and a 200 hour experienced registered Yoga Alliance Instructor. She is an advanced yoga practitioner with advanced yoga credentials working on her 500 hour teacher training. Will finish in May 2010. Specializing in working with health related issues of the mind and body.
Pamela integrates a
number of traditional yoga styles along with theraputic solutions for health into
classes that are known for their relaxed style without sacrificing
authentic practice. Pamela helps her students to release into relaxation by building a strong
foundation emphasizing correct breathing and alignment in yoga poses.

Earning a Master's degree
in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania in 1981,
Pamela
worked as a medical social worker for 25 years. She also teaches yoga as an adjunct instructor for the physical education departments at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and Carthage College.
Her classes and workshops thru the popular mini-course program for adults at UW-P are extremely well attended.
Pamela
is a certified and registered instructor trained to work
with individuals affected by Multiple Sclerosis. She also teaches wellness
programs on topics such as vegetarianism, proper breathing
techniques, meditation, stress management, ergonomics,
and
overall health topics at various locations throughout southeast
Wisconsin.
Pamela also offers personalized instruction, corporate in-service
programs, private sessions, workshops, and private yoga parties and celebrations.
