Yoga 2 (Teacher Pamela Grubb)
This class is for individuals who have at least 6 months yoga experience.  Students are asked to have a basic understanding of the sun salutation and diaphragmatic breathing. The focus of this class is to deepen awareness of the alignment of the body in asanas (poses) with the use of breath. Poses are often done in a flow or vinyasa style (2 or more poses linked together by the breath).

Students hold poses longer to deepen their experience. Focus in poses are given to feet, knees, hamstrings, quadriceps, hips, and neck to help students develop body/mind awareness. Students often begin to have a home practice at this level.  Pranayama (breathing work) and meditation are taught. Each class ends with a quiet relaxation, meditation, and pranayama practice.

Yoga 1 & 2 (All Levels) (Teacher Pamela Grubb or Sandy Thurwanger)
This class is open to all levels of students regardless of experience. Depending on the students in class, the focus is on releasing into the poses and working on understanding alignment and breath to gain stability, balance, and strength. Students learn how to move into each pose.
